New 357 scope base

Hello again.  Finally got my new 357 handi today.  Nice look and feel, however, the scope mount base seems to be pointing off to the right of center.  Will this be a significant problem for accuracy?  I would shoot it, but shortage of 357\38 ammo in my area and I don't have brass or projectiles yet.  Otherwise, it looks like it will be alot of fun.  Thanks again.     Jeff
