If Marlin would put their stainless 336 out in .35 Remington, I would be forced to buy yet another deer rifle.

You can have a Marlin 35Rem Hard Chromed I have a 444 thats been
HC'ed and it seems to a very good finish, do a Web search and you will find a lot of info.
