Lima Gun Show
« on: April 30, 2010, 05:13:19 PM »
Have never been to the Lima Gun Show ( and I think it's this weekend ). Will be coming from the East on Rt. 30. When I get close to Lima what roads do I look for to turn on and just where is the show at? Fairgrounds?  Thanks.    RRM

I have never been either but here is some info on it:

May 1-2 Lima, Allen County Fairgrounds, 2750 Harding Hwy  Sat 8-4 Sun 8-3 Tri-State Gun Collectors John Kimmel jkimmel@tristategunshow.org 419-647-0067 www.tristategunshow.org

Bring me back a surprise.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

Hey Pow Pow, thanks. Nothing like waiting to the last minute. Bring back a surprise ??? That would be nice. Actually this time I'm hunting parts. I picked up a rifle a couple of weeks ago and someone changed the front sight and I want to put it back the way it should be.  RRM

It's also called 309, about a mile east of I75. Just east of a Walmart super center.(If you make it on Sunday, stop by the dealer that sells steel targets and say hi. That's me) gypsyman

Hey Gypsyman, I ended up going, but I did not see your post until after I got back or I would have stopped by. Boy, that was a nice show. Not a lot of FLEA MARKET stuff, a real honest to goodness gun show. I would like to return sometime, but I drove over three hours to get there, so I might make it only a couple of times a year. Thanks for the invite and the next time I will look you up.  RRM

Rat, boy are you lucky!!!! I just got in the place and ran smack into 2 of the uglest guys you ever saw. Scared me so bad I won`t go back to another gun show there untill OCT. ;D I wander if they will be at the picnic there in July??? Hope at least one of them is, that way I won`t be the ugliest guy at the picnic.

Sounds pretty scary. I looked for a guy named Stimpy that I know frequents the place, but I really don't know him either. Mentioned his named a couple of time, but from the looks I got I figured I better not do that anymore, might get tossed out. Hey Catfish, you set up there also?  RRM

He might as well be. He's the first one in the door, and usually scoops up all the deals. I know I'm planning on being at the picnic, just so I can see the winner of the ugliest member of the Tri-state gun collectors organization. Plus, win a new Savage .22. gypsyman

RRM, I haven`t set up since the sate wants individuals to charge tax on sales. As for Stimpy, you can usually catch him just after the doors open at thr Gypsyman table, but be ready to get real scared.  ;) We should have another shoot this summer and you could meet him there.
