Gray fox

:-) Does anyone hunt foxes with dogs? Yesterday, my dog barking under tree sounded unusual. I saw a gray fox male sitting on relatively small tree. I kicked the tree, the fox jumped down and my Nayda caught and killed it quickly. Now, she is looking for more foxes. Perhaps, a saluki would catch foxes on the ground instead of teeing them.
Keep your dogs busy

The guy we hunt with that comes up here hunts foxes down in NC with hounds.....He'd bring some up to run but were usually always bummed after being out with the dogs for a while and he doesn't have enough room in the box to bring fox and bear hounds up....The way it is, he can fit 2 in each top box, then 4 in each bottom fora total of 12......Exactly how many bear hounds he has....

Anyways, I;'m not sure if he has any, he had all 15 of his fox hounds poisoned last year by  some A**hole and they all died...So I dunno if he's bought anymore yet or not
Down with Maine Citizens for Fair Bear hunting!
----It will kill Maine's hunting economy....Is this really what we need?
----Plus, all you other Northeasterners, if it goes through here.......your more then likely NEXT

No matter what type of dog you turn loose on a grey they're gonna tree.
It's their nature. I used to run fox a lot if you want to hear a long race then get on a red they'll keep going like the energizer bunny :)
