It was nice to make it to the range today.

It warmed up here a little today to about 36 degrees. The wind was calm so I went to the range today for a little while with my Marlin 917V. It sure was nice to get out and shoot a little. Here is a target I shot at 100 yards. I was shooting Hornady 17 grain Vmax out of it today. My rifle has a 6" to 9" bipod on it with a BSA 6x18x40 Sweet 17 scope with the side focus on it. Dale

thats pretty good shooting. YA gotta luv any day at the range!! Between the weather and driving truck i finally made it to the range saturday and sunday for 1 1/2 hours each day. It was in the high 20's. Sure took lots of stress  out of the system ;D  Now all I need to do is learn how to post pics

YOUSE GUYS ARE KILLIN' ME!!!!!!!!!!!! 

We've still got 13" of snow on the ground and it ain't meltin' much so far.

Jezzz... I "NEED" to get some shootin' in... would love to take the ol' .50 caliber flintlock down to the range and make some "good smoke" !!!  It's been a LONG, COLD Winter... and I'm "ready" for Spring !~!~!

Come on Ron buck up. Breaking trail the first pass is not fun but the fresh air and powder smoke makes it all worth while. Went out myself saturday, it was good to get out of the house for a couple hours. Took a new XD out for a test drive, 200 mixed rounds and not even a piece of brass missplaced.

The wind had layed, the sun was as bright as could be, and temps were in mid twenties. After the past couple months it was like heaven. Up here they say the winter keeps out the rif raf and they might be right.
