black bear mount

This was my first black bear taken with my .50 cal great plains.  my 10 year lod daughter gives some idea of the size, 368lb shot in Northern Maine

here a guy that was on the mountain last year (winter 2009)
no one has taken him I did see him on a late sunday bow hunt in the last week of Oct: on the ridge but took the back trail off the mountain

I would bet well over 500 lbs
