Went to one of the two box stores that sell firearms etc. On the rack was a pretty nice 336 in 35 Rem. It was a 336 DL undrilled for a scope. Some bubba hacked the tube to 20 inches and installed a Lyman front ramp. I was devastated. These models with the 24 inch tube are fairly scarce out here in Arizona. What was even more depressing , they were wanting $450.00 for the thing. I might have considered it if the price was more in the range of 250 or so.

Being that its chopped 200-250 is all I would pay. You can get another tube and sight and return it to its former glory

I'd rather have it with the 20' barrel, but I wouldn't pay that much even if it were uncut.
