If pro is the opposite of con, is progress the opposite of congress?

and Just what should you do if you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant?

If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Just thinking out loud  ;D

Why is it we drive on parkways and park in driveways?

Oh and this is kind of bad, but when I was a little girl and I would see those Slow Death in Family signs in our neighborhood I thought it meant there was actually someone in those houses dying slowly. Also, I wondered if  Slow Children at Play meant there were mentally challenged children living close by.  Wording, punctuation, and play on words have always interested me.  :)

Look what a difference a comma can make....Let's eat Grandma.. ;).. Let's eat, Grandma...totally changes the meaning of the sentence!

:) Howdy!  I saw a sign by a cash register at a store once that said, "No Change Made!"  However, someone asked the clerk what did they consider to change, but decided not to.  Yes, signs can be misleading. Another one was a sign that said, Clean Restrooms Ahead.  I wonder if anyone stopped and started to clean those restrooms?   Always, Gene  :D

walked into my little general store the other day , Kevin the owner asked if there was anything specific he could help me with.
I told him if I was looking for something specific why would I be in a General Store.......... Took him a minute,  than I heard a small chuckle from in back of the counter.
