They are $259 at Academy in Mobile. I would buy it if it fits your hand good. I have the 357 magnum in the 4 inch barrel. I love it! I shoot it pretty often and it has held up well IMO. I have the adjustable sights. I dialed them in and put clear finger nail polish over the screws so they would move and after 6 months of riding in a holster in the truck and on my hip and lots of shooting its still on. I shoot 158 grain semi jacketed hollow points 38 special in mine. They are the cheapo American Eagle for coyotes and coke cans and such. When I tote it concealed I throw in some 140 grain FTX Hornady 357's

I've had an older Model 68, 2" snub in 38 special for over a dozen years, and, for the most part, really like it.  The only downside is that the trigger face is serrated which can be hard on the finger, especially during extended sessions.  I didn't buy it as a target gun though.   With about 2,000 rounds through it, it's still as tight as the day I bought it.  I can still put all my rounds into an 8" circle at 25 yards, but the limiting factor there is me, not the gun.  My son shoots it much better.

I own a Rossi model 88, .38 spec. 2" snub and a Rossi model 871, .357 mag with 6" barrel.  Bought them new about 10-12 years ago and having shot many rounds through both, find them to be accurate and reliable.  Can't remember the price I paid but recall that both were fairly cheap at the time.  Wife has her CCW and often carries the .38 while the .357 has become a safe queen for no real reason other than I have since bought other handguns I prefer to shoot.  Definitly would recommend Rossi and your price seems to be within range of comparable revolvers.

I've got an older Rossi (Interarms) .38 in 4" barrel, nickel, and I love it. One of the most accurate guns that I own.
