New guy with a question or two
« on: February 26, 2010, 01:12:50 PM »
Hey guys great forum, wish I could have found it sooner!!! First question: I have seen that H&R will only put the higher powered barrels on certain frames...my question is what are #'s do I want or not want to have on my gun???

WELCOME!!

I don't understand your entire question.. But the first part is SB1 (shotgun and some pistol rounds) and SB2 (centerfire rifle and hi power pistol rounds)and rimfire actions...

OH yea.. Tim, (quickdtoo) has done a great job setting up our FAQ's.. go give them a read!

Woooh sorry I really butchered my question... What I was trying to ask is if it was safe to put any caliber H&R barrel on my SB2 frame... I read somewhere that the older frames can't take the pressure associated with the bigger cal.'s

If you have a fairly new SB-2 frame, yes you can put the high powered barrels on it.  And welcome to our little campfire. ;)  DP
