You will need a forearm with a full bull channel and mounting holes on rifle spacing. If your hornet barrel is tapered thats probably why the forearm dosent fit the full bull barrel. You can take sand paper wrapped around a socket about the same size of the full bull barrel and open the channel up. And it should still work with the other barrel but with a little wider gap.
