I've killed hundreds of hogs over in Turkey. And let me tell you, if a hog wants you, and you are on the ground, you are in big trouble. A wild hog is one of the most agile animals around. And don't think they can't jump either.
We trapped about 40 wild hogs inside a stone walled orchard. When we started shooting many of them tried jumping the wall. The wall was only six foot high in some areas, and a few managed to get their front feet over the top of the wall. Although none made it over the wall they sure came close. The Turks sitting on top of the wall watching, found another place to watch from.
When ever we trapped a bunch, and we would start shooting, some would run. Others would go on the offensive, and start looking for the shooters.
