The only thing I saw that I did not like was the fact that the old man got off the bus and the punk stayed on. Maybe it was his stop! He did make his point though. would have been good to see the punk get arrested for assault though. He Wasn't talking smack at the end was he?

Did you watch all of the vid's?
The woman recording this was inciting the fight.
The black man was arrested by transit police and charged with parole violations + theft of the old mans stuff. Back to prison.
Now the old man is not all clean hisownself--he spent 14 years locked up after Nam for drugs. He said he had his own heat on him. and the black man pulled a knife.
I dunno--seems like a likeable fight and thge black guy couldn't walk the talk.
Been in Texas---well--Black guy might not been so lucky.
Who knows the truth.

I hate to sound like a doubt-er, but I think I'd have to see his DD214 to believe he is ex-service, much less viet vet. The reason I say it is because of his expression when being questioned by the reporter, and I would think most would answer something like " yea, Army, '66-67", or some such. I've seen too many street people making false claims.
But, either way, it was nice to see a percieved victim getting the upper hand.

that fella still carried some thunder in his fist apparently..i learned better myself..
don t talk the talk if you can t walk the walk..got no thunder left in my mits..
still theres a better way.. christ set the examlple.. we all on a learning curve.. my physical ability was in the way of my learning gods next step for me.. so in his love.. he let nature take it away from me..
now i can learn his way ,an to surrender to it..for my own good..
that being said .. i still think bullies need to meet somebody that knows thier weakness an pitiful state of being..mabe the result will be the bullies being put on his way to surrendering to gods will. slim

I have no idea about the Nam thing---but---he did say he spent 14 years in prison and he lives on the street.
These facts add up to the man being in some kind of fighting shape.
Most old folks, such as myownself, are not in that shape---so don't go off thinking you still got it.
However; don't let a man walk on you either.

Seems like every street person in his 60's was a VN vet. I have my doubts also but being a 2 year VN veteren it did my heart good to see the old phart kick the @@@@ out of him.

I watched both video's....both have issues, but, in my mind, the black guy was carrying a big chip on his shoulder...just chose the wrong guy to piss off! I did my service time, early '67 to late '70, Nam for 7 months...just don't think it is worth taking any crap...and that saying is right, if an old guy doesn't want to fight, he'll probably kill you or mess you up pretty bad! Just saying.....
