Got a line on a Buffalo Classic in 45LC.. I need another Handi like a hole in the head but you know the disease.. Ha. Any of you fellows had any problems with this specific gun.. I think I read on GB a problem with the rear site?  Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks Rick

I had to open up the extractor on my first one.  The chamber is a bit on the large side and the brass would swell enough it wouldn't go past the extractor.  Touched it with the dremel and a chainsaw sharpening bit just enough to let it come out and no issues with it since.  Oh, except I lost one of the screws holding the rear sight leaf at the range.  Note to self, check all screws. :-[  Haven't fired the new one yet.  What disease?  DP

I have had no real problems with mine. my eyes will not focus on anything that close any more, so I made a peep blade for the rear sight. now that Im looking through it [ not at it] the sights are fine. DR

The 45 LC BC was the second one I bought out of 3 in as many months after finding this den of iniquity and I'm happy.............  ;D

My only problem with the rear sight is that my oldish eyes, yes they are oldish not old, prefer a peep and the longer sight plane that comes with it. Other than that it's a beautiful gun, one of which H&R can be proud.

Don,

I can feel your pain brother! I wear bifocals and open sights (my favorite) give me hell these days............ The only other option I have is to scope my BC's and I just refuse to do so.
