Vent rib barrels??

Are the Topper Classic and Topper Trap barrels the same?

Heck, does anybody on here have a Topper Trap Gun? I have been wanting an H&R trap gun but, money is a little tight. If the only difference is the stock, you could get the barrel and put a monte carlo stock on it to make it shoot high. You may have to call customer service on this one and see if you can get a straight answer. JamesIII

TDC barel is 28" TDC trap barrel is 30"

Yes, the barrels are different lengths, but does the vent rib taper down towards the muzzle as on many trap barrels? If they both use a straight vent rib then the Trap Gun barrel is just a longer hunting barrel and sight adjustment is made in the stock height. JamesIII
