Winchester's new CB Long Match in a Super 14" 22LR Match barrel...

I was not suprised to see how a LR was definately engraved by the lands in this "match" chamber. What WAS suprising to see the stubby little 29 grain bullet of CB Long ammo engrave as well!! Can't wait to get this barrel scoped and benched!

Shot some Aguila Super Colibri and CCI CB Long [non match] rounds through my newly aquired 14" 22LR Match barrel. The Super Colibris really cook when shot thru this barrel! They may become my 'new CB' if I can get them for a good price.
Having just gotten back into Contenders, I quickly picked up 22LR Match, .357 Max, and 44 Rem Mag 14" barrels in addition to the 30/30AI that came with the G2 frame.
The little 22LR might become my favorite barrel....it is so quiet in the back yard. Then again, it may get threaded for my TAC 65 suppressor anyway. Then I'll be launching CCI SubSonics with more 'oomph' to them.

If I remember right I was getting 450 FPS with the Super Colibri loads in my 14 inch.  Trouble is, I couldn't get any accuracy from it or my 10 inch with them.  No match chamber.  Watch 'em though, they will bounce back at ya on occasion!
