Browning M92 44mag
« on: March 07, 2010, 03:15:58 PM »
Hia folks
Im looking at a Browning M92 44mag for basic woods carry and load testing.
Ques; Whats the ROT?
Will it cycle a Keith bullet in mag brass, or does it have to be a 1.61" OAL.

Thanks in advance
Dwayner

I would imagine they are the same action length so... I have just shot up a bunch of Keiths style SWC's from an RCBS mould through my Rossi M92.  I had to seat them down past the crimping grove before they would function through the action.  I don't have the actual OAL here at work, but if you want to know I'll check my notes.

BTW, at an acceptable length, the SWC's cycled through the action without a hitch!   ;D

#429421 needs to be crimped over the front driving band to cycle. Seated to the crimp groove it's too long.
