Stag Arms ?
« on: May 13, 2010, 08:04:17 AM »
I have been looking at the Stag Arms model 7 hunter in 6.8  for deer.  I've read quite a bit about the 6.8 and and iam sold on the cartridge but would like some more info on the rifle.  Anyone out there have any experiance with this rifle ?   By the way, I reload so ammo avalibility is not an issue.

Ive got a stag in .223 and its a real good gun. even if you handload youd better look for some brass before you buy that gun. My buddy has a stag in 6.8 and cant find brass anywhere for it.

I looked at midway first of the week and they showed remington brass in stock.  I guess i need to get some brass and dies first, then i would have to get a rifle  ;D

I noticed stag marks there lowers as 6.8  , will the standerd 223 upper swap out on 6.8 lower.
