    We've been putting up with it for years down here. The main item of concern is the manatee. They aren't even native to these waters. The Manatee Club lobbies the law makers year after year to enlarge the no motor zones. They also want just about every stretch of water declared a no wake zone. They say that gives the manatees time get out of the way when they hear a boat coming.

Years ago I was into the cb craze. Big antenna, juiced radio, big linear. We used to talk  to some guys South of here around rough river, a big lake. I told em one night while we were discussing how the govt was screwing us with taxes that I'd heard on the news that the new gov was instituting a fishing tax. $1 per reel, $2 per pole. The 1st 50 yds of line was free, but after that it was a penny a foot. Also there was a $5 a month tax on boats, and $2 on the motors. Man oh man, those boys take their fishing serious. Needless to say they were more than a bit POd. They were cussing up a storm. I of course felt terrible. POWDERMAN.

  This is just a giant land grab by the "progressives"  and the hate & destroy America crowd, who masquerade as "concerned environmentalists"
   Here in the people's republic of NY, they are even talking of taxing private home water wells $150 per year. Thje leftist idiots cannot control themselves from spending..so they want to tax, tax, and more tax..
