Don't have one, but have known a lot of folks that did what you did ... buy the knockoff cheap, upgrade the hardware, and you wind up with essentially the same guitar. Good call! great sound for probably 1/3 of the price of a Gibson.

Hardware upgrades work wonders.  I have a Gibson Hummingbird that I bought for my daughter.  I good bone saddle and some fine strings later, wow!!!

Unfortunately, very few guitars under 5 bills are made here.

That's the great thing about electric guitars, even a bolt on neck guitar will have good tone with the reight electronics. I put a
dimarzio xn2 in a squire strat and man what a difference.

That is a nice looking axe you got there.

Last summer another fella and I installed some kitchen cabinets, the home owner bought em off Craigs List  all new in the box, nice looking cabinets, the biggest surprise was everything was plywood/verneer,solid wood the drawers tounge and groove construction, dident see any particle board on any part, some really nice looking cabinets for the money, hardware was top notch, this really changed my view of what to expect from them, the cabinets were great the accompanying pamplets were standard Chinesed english very funny to read.

I do have a chinese made acustic learner guitar, best I can say is it least stays in tune.
