Assume its a handgun...

What caliber?
What is the intended purpose for this barrel?

Tough to beat a Burris scope, which one depends on the above.   Which one also sets where you'll want to buy it.

yes it is a handgun. i have an encore 243 but have a 308 barrel ordered and also ordered a 2-7 burris scope from midway usa. the 308 will be used for deer hunting. the 243 will be used for turkey hunting. yes it is legal in the state of alabama as long as it has no scope. any load data for a 243 to shoot turkeys with?

I would have to believe this would be a good place to use cast bullets..I know the Lyman Cast Bullet manual always has good data..may offer less meat damage than any expanding bullet..might be hard to purchase cast 6mm bullets.  May have to cast your own.
