Ready for a scope for my 15" 7mm-08 and don't want to spend a whole bunch of moolah? I was just wanting your guy's expert opinions for a scope in the $175-250 range. ::) I forgot to mention that I would like it in a variable model.

Would have to be Bushnell Trophy XLT 2x6x32 at 91% light transmission-$167.99. I have the Burris 2x7x32 that has twice the FOV and a little better light trans, but is over $300. Shooting paper- Trophy, hunting-Burris.
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

I agree. I went through the no light gathering scopes, works great on paper, but took @ 10 minutes of prime whitetail wandering time off my hunts. I went with an overpriced leopold( i think) but it works well in 2x8 x32.
Still dreaming of that Boone and Crocket Pistol Kill!!!
