Does anybody have any experience with these? I bought 2 boxes to use as my primary hunting bullets in a .357 max. Thoughts, opinions, comments, anything. The plan is to try and shoot for around 1600fps, unles there is a way to get more using H110.

They should work fine. The 357 Maximum gives near the same performance as a 357 Herrett and I used 158 gr. XTP HP bullets in mine to take a Black Wildebeest, a Springbok and a Mountain Reedbuck with no problem. The bullets held together well and expansion was classic mushroom.

I shoot them right at 1400 fps from my 357 Mag 10" Contender and they work perfect. The only one that I have recovered was from one deer that was shot at 107 yards as it quartered toward me. I shot it in the center of the right front shoulder and almost knocked it off it's feet but it took a 50 yard dash and crash. When I skinned it out I found that the bullet had smashed through the shoulder blade traveled through the chest taking out both lungs. Then went on through the diaphragm and into the gut and was found just under the hide where it came out of the gut at the front edge of the left ham. The bullet was a text book expansion back to the crimp groove closest to the base of the bullet. This bullet is very accurate and will usually exit on a broad side shot on a deer. At least that has been my experience. I have killed a couple of fox with it also and they were bang flop.

I shoot them some out of my handie maxi and they do very well, I use IMR 4227 or AA 1680 and I am getting over 2000FPS with them.
I prefer hard cast thou.

I haven't taken a head of game with them, but have found them to very accurate in most of my handloads. I have loaded them in .357 Mag., .357 Max and .35 Remington..The 357 mag is a S&W 586 and the .357 Max and .35 Remington are Contender barrels..
