Revolver scope mount
« on: March 21, 2010, 06:42:27 AM »
I have a Taurus 941 small frame revolver with a 5" barrel.  Great shooter that I would like to mount a holographic sight to.  It appears that there isn't a mount made for the 941.  Any suggestions?  The rear sight rests in a small groove on top of the firearm very similar to the Taurus Tracker but smaller dimension.

Not having worked with the revolver mentioned I really don't know but a call to Brownells techline (800-741-0015)should help. It's free and they deliver.. B-Square likely makes a mount. May require drilling a hole in the groove under the rear sight, which will have to be removed of course.. I used one of their mounts on a DanWesson in 44 mag. It's been solid as a rock, although any mount such as these can loosen, that's why LocTite thread locker was made..
