May 3, was a nice spring day.  Just about dark, the temp.dropped and the wind started whippin again!  They reported gusts of over 60 mph, supposed to last till Tuesday night.  Talkin winds of 30-45 mph with gust of over 60 all night and all day Tues.  I just lost a bunch more shingles and figure I'll lose a bunch more before it stops >:(.  At least I hadn't gotten anything fixed yet :-\.  At least we aren't like a lot of folks around the country, floods, oil tornados.  Been a pretty strange spring so far, and just gettin started.  DP

Now its snow!!

We drove over to Browning yesterday to see the Plains Indian Museum.  It's a small but interesting museum.  Hour stop at the most.

Granddaughter drove over in a screaming blizzard. On the way over Granddaughter tellme this is the only fourth time she has ever driven-yikes.  She did just fine.  On the way back there was some slush on the road.  I told her to drive in previous vehicles tracks.  As we were going doen the road, she drifted  bit to the right and the right wheel hit the slush and it  bang up under the truck.  She yelped and said she thought we were skidding.  I explained to her how the slush just pulled at her tire.

She has been getting some training while here that is for sure.

Was snowin pretty heavy this morning,  had an inch or so pile up but it was melting pretty quick.  Snowed off and on most of the day but nothing on the ground here in Billings now.  Pretty chilly with the wind blowing 15-20 mph.  Ah, spring in Montana. :-\  DP

Been tough here in Ga. as well.  Was about 50 sumpin' this morning, and warmed up to around 70 or so.  Had to sleep under a sheet with the window open last night.

Hope it gets better for you guys soon.  By next month, we should have some high nineties and I'll be glad to share that..........
