I found this online but I can't remember where.
FPS x .6818 = MPH.
I was amazed to find out just how fast bullets go.

Simply units of conversion:
1.0 hour = 60 seconds * 60 minutes = 3600 seconds
1.0 mile = 5280 feet
3600 seconds * 1.0 mile
---------------- ------------
1.0 hour 5280 feet
FPS = 0.681818...MPH
or the inverse
MPH = 1.46666...FPS
