My friends say that's a BIG show.   They make a week-end of it.

Hillbill, yes we usually try to go every year, we was doing the 2 times a yr trip but they changed the fall date to be on Arkansas deer opener and I wont miss the grandson hunting opener, I know alot of the dealers personnally and it is mostly a social event with us, but some how always manage to bring something home so I can hear the Bride say something like DONT YOU ALREADY HAVE A COUPLE OF THEM!  I always enjoy the older weapons and one of my buddies has a 1st generation colt 41 SAA he is carrying over so we can see how many $100 offers he will recieve for it :D   Jim

i wanted to go last fall too but they had it during the mo deer season. and apparently during the ark season as yu said.wonder why they did that?it is wild how yu get some crazy lowball offers on stuff you got to trade or sell.some of those dealers are totally unashamed of trying to screw people lol.

They changed the date because some horse show people have the whole Month of October booked and from what I understand it will stay booked for the foreseeable future so as far as I can tell we will only be going in the spring from now on.  But its kinda like Vagas if you have never been you deserve to go for the experience.   Jim
