ROT questions

What is the standard rate of twist for factory contender 14" hunter barrels in 7x30 and 30-30? How about 10" bull 30-30? If there is are different answers, how do you determine what the barrel is? It seems like it would be difficult to get accurate results using the rod and patch method. Thanks.

well, about all i know is that my 14" 30-30AI has 1 in 10" twist, and i think the regular 30-30 does too. some older 30-30's had 1 in 14". pretty sure the older ones were 6 land and groove.
