Just got in from a small local rondy.   Had a great time, and met a wonderful Cherokee lady that quickly became a kindred spirit.   Here's a few pictures.....

Sure is pretty there.  It has already dropped to -10 degrees here.  We would do a rondy - but the horses don't like being in the cold all that much.  They would rather stay in a nice warm house -oops - I mean barn.

The Cherokee lady - where is her picture?

Kind of cold here too, only in the mid 60's.   You know how full blooded native Americans feel about pictures to the public.   :wink:   Just try to imagine young, tall and sleek... coal black eyes sparkling in the moonlight, and a long black mane blowing in the wind.

Last time I thought of something young, sleek, with coal black hair, I ended up with a labrador retreiver. It just ain't the same.

Sorry I missed getting right back to you Underclocked.   Had about 30 gongs, pipes and steel cutouts of various sizes suspended from wire frames and partially hidden by plants from about 30 to 80 yards, with a small rifle shoot-off gong up on the cliff at 120 yards.   Uneven ground (loose sand, slopped, etc.) and straddling bushes added to the challenge.   Patched RB only, the pistols used the 30-50 stuff, rifles the 40-80.   On the primative, there was a William Tell at 50 yards - poor dummy got poked in some pretty embarrassing places, but the apple was never touched with the long bows and finally the Booshway gave up and ate it.

Crow-feather... nothing wrong with a lab, they make great friends too.   But no, I am NOT interested in trading with you pard.   :wink:
