The only Mayfield I am familiar with is south of I-10 near Ozona, Tx.    Hunted that one for several years.  Doesn't sound like the same place though.

I must say they are kinda proud of their critters. No danger of me doing any harm to them at those prices.

Wish they provided a map so I could see if it was anywhere near our old lease.  The prices are a bit high it seems, and I wonder what they mean by "red sheep?"  Anyone know?  I did not see a price list for bison, which would be something I would like to hunt at some point, if they are not tame.

Hey Mark...yeah...I think they are high as well.  I assume RED SHEEP means Iranian Red Sheep which is a type of mouflon.

Hey Doc, if thats the case, I would pass on red sheep, but would like to hunt red deer!!!   Those are beautiful animals.  I wonder if they are good eating?   Ever shoot one of the big red deer?

Yep...took a red deer, 17 points 9x8.  Terrific venison, but, axis and fallow are better in my opinion!!

Doc, thats what I would love to hunt, provided it was wild.  Is that a Ruger #1 you are holding?  Caliber?   Very nice deer.   Did you have a shoulder mount made of that one?
