New 30-30 / New 260
« on: April 03, 2010, 01:00:41 PM »
Stopped by Gun Exchange on Thursday after work and picked up my new 30-30 from Tom. Went to Fleet yesterday to buy 3 boxes of 150 grainer, then got it all cleaned up ready to go. Today Wayne sent an e-mail invoice today saying my 24 inch bull 260 was done and ready to ship.Am really excited to get em both to the range.

Congrats. I know you will love the Handi 30-30 and I like the 260 cartridge but have only had any experience with it in a Ruger M77.

I thank God everyday for my loving wife and all the fond memories of hunting with my Papa from a child until now.

Please take time to take a kid hunting, it will be a life long memory and blessing for both of you!
