Did H&R make a "excel" single shot shotgun pre1899

I have a question did harrington and richardson make a "excel" model in the 1890's it is a single shot reciever break action and on the side of the reciever it say's excel. It kinda look's like a iver johnson champion reciever but I don't know , any suggestions guy's. Thanks GBO members.

Not 100% sure, but I think it is an Iver Johnson. Hunman55
