Has anyone converted a Stevens .25 rimfire to .22 RF?

i have a barrel i'm thinking of relining to 17 hmr.

Some of that may hinge on what model you're talaking about. Many are not capable of handling the 17HMR. They likely wouldn't fail catastrophocally but the acceleration of the wear(loosening) would be dangerous..
