« on: April 16, 2010, 06:37:26 AM »
So can any one tell me what a stainless super single six in 32 mag is going for these days. Saw one yesterday that the guy wants 450 for.

Found a blued one at a gunshow last weekend, with original box in new condition for $750. I walked away at a brisk pace.

Quite a difference comparing the fixed sight ones (only stainless .32's were fixed sights) and the adjustable sight models.  The adj sight models will command a higher price depending on the exact model.  The fixed sight models are starting to have their prices creep up again.  Condition, completeness of package plays into the cost obviously.  Check the completed auctions on GunBroker as a good starting point.  In the end, it's worth exactly what someone will pay for it.  If you need to ask if it's worth the tagged price, it seemingly isn't worth that much to you.
I gotta add that the pair of fixed sight .32's are FUN little shooters.  Got a pair of adj sight models to try now. Thinking they'll be just as fun.  it is a really neat cartridge.

The .32 H&R calibre Ruger Bisleys are also "pricey"! ($500+) I'm not a big Bisley fan but one of the fluted cylinder, drift rear sight .32 Bisleys would be nice to have.

750 ??? you sure that wasn't gold :o I thought 450 was a little pricey for the little stainless one. I was curious cause I have not seen one come through any of the local shops in a long time
