Dear Lord, This past year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze. My favorite actress, Farah Fawcett. My favorite singer, Michael Jackson. My favorite salesman, Billy Mayes. I just wanted you to know that Obama is my favorite president and Nancy Pelosi is my favorite Speaker of the House... Amen

Too be a cantankerous and crotchty old cuss---which I am--it makes no difference if you are religous or not---I don't believe in Free Will controlling God---HIS will, will over ride all our request.
Just get used too going along for the ride and make sure you are on the correct side.  :) :-*
