 I've seen a couple of peeps on barrels used for Silhouette.  You'd need a low recoil round; 22lr, 22hornet, 32-20, 25-20 or such.  The peep would have to be near your eye much like the very narrow notch Bo-Mar sight. If you can establish a good sight picture it should work ok. RP

I made one up out of a st'd T/C rear sight. Because it is so far from your eye, I had to have a much larger than normal hole(peep). I could find no advantage over a square notch.
