Is it me or is obama going back on his word?

Remember when he was running and said no one was gonna get a tax hike that made under $250,000.00 a year. In fact he said they would get a tax cut. How about a flash to the past.

Were the candidates different?     ::)

Your question has validity because of the last part of the question, "including the folk that love him so much."  Any person thinking clearly knew he was lying from the beginning. The Obamanites are like the "Moonies" of the 60"/70"s. They weren't thinking clearly & don't expect them to acknowledge anything now, it won't happen. But there are many in between who have seen the light.

I fell into that catagory! Part of the reason for this thread was to remind the many who were not thinking so clearly then.

I am on mission here, This man and his agenda must be stopped! Yep thats right I want him to fail, and I am gonna post, speak, shout, give money, and fight if I have to to see that he does!

This thread was not contrived to have a pep rally for republicans, it is intended to remind those who easily forget, what we face. Visual aid if you will. Dont even care if anyone posts replies just watch it and remember.

If I can get it to 30 they may get it to 300 and so on and so forth.

Yep, Obama has gone back on his word- a whole bunch of times.  Show me a president in the past 40 years who has not gone back on his word.  Political pukes are supposed to lie, cheat and steal:  Obama is no exception.

Yep, Rooselvelt lied a bunch of times.  Roosevelt is also the last president to win a war-a really big war at that.  Nixon and his putrid buddy Kissinger surrendered in Vietnam and doomed hundreds of POWs/MIAs to a slow death.  Yep, I still remember old lying Dick Nixon and his "I'm not a crook" speech.  Then there was the resident Republican hero Herbert Hoover who promised "a car in every garage and a chicken in every pot."

Roosevelt never won a damned thing! Men like MY Dad won that war! If ya wanna give Roosevelt credit ,you can give him credit for letting the Generals fight it and just making speeches.

Oh and he can get credit for making sure the depression lasted an extra ten years doing just what this present horses ass is doing.

Using the terminology "going back on his word" implies that he meant to keep his word at one time... which is very doubtful.

You know how I can tell when 'O' is lying... his lips are moving.

He has kept his word on alot of things just not the ones we wanted to believe he would. The ends justify the means to the face of the evil that is behind this whole hijacking of our country and our childrens future. My first grandchild will be born in Nov. and I am sick over how in the hell he is going to live in this godforsaken mess. Steve

All bills will be posted so people can read them and speak up.  ::)

Anybody that thinks he's not going to raise taxes is mistaken.  He has to in order to cover the latest government shopping spree.  I suspect he'll do it slowly and methodically, with plenty of long winded speeches in between.

I received some public speaking training from the agency I was working with during the Clinton campaign years ago, and we watched tapes of his campaign speeches and debates. I was struck by how certain the instructor was that Clinton was a well trained liar. Seriously, we analyzed delivery, eyes, facial features, etc. When they look straight into the camera, they're lying. You take someone with a whole lot of natural talent, then give them a world class coach, and you win a Presidency.
