I currently have an old CH Pistol Champ 3 stage press that I use to load 45 ACP and 38 Special and 357 Magnum. It does a great job with these loads but as anyone knows who uses the CH powder measure you are somewhat restricted with the powders you can use because of having to match up a particular bushing for a certain type of powder and there is not always a match for a particular caliber. I have been thinking of getting a different press for loading of my 9 mm's. Anyone have any recommendations on a good set including powder measure and accurate scale?? I have carbide dies for my CH and would want to get carbide dies for this new press. I have seen RCBS, Lee, etc and just don't know which ones hold up the best. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. I know that CH is still in business with another company in Ohio who bought out CH's invetory. One of the guys in my club ordered the dies for 9 mm for his CH and had a load of problems with the belling die which also handles the powder charge. Had to have it machined to make it work as it was crushing the tops of his cases. I want to avoid this problem. Thanks. again. :-)
