Just sitting here oversea's wishin I was back state side so I could get some hunting and scouting in. Anyways lets see some pics.

My 2009 lion (Harvested with my CZ).

I never get over the size of a cougar next to a human!! Something about night calling predators in cat country and having one of those rather large kittys sneaking in at your 6 o'clock sends shivers down my spine!!

That would be amazing.

No pics for me yet, I'm just getting into this, few more weeks until I can get my rifle, then it is on. Just got my first yote reaction to a call, couple responded to some howls, they were only 100-200 yards away as well. Got me excited

Here's one i shot off the back porch about ten days ago.

A perfect ending to a Friday. I have had the T3 .223 propped up by the back door for the last year, waiting for a coyote to walk by across the wash behind the house. I've seen quite a few 'yotes, just not one that I could get a shot at. Cooking dinner tonight I glanced out across the wash and there it was. One coyote wandering along the rim. I turned the stove off and stepped out the back door. The yote had vanished. I stood on top of the picnic table hoping to catch a glimpse, I finally saw him about 400 yards out moving in and out of the sagebrush. Wrong direction for a shot and a little far. Suddenly he turned and trotted straight towards me. I'm standing in the snow, in my socks, with the rifle propped on the fence. At 300 he stopped and turned broadside when a neighbors dog barked. Bam, down he went, no whirling or running, just stiff legs pointing skyward. I'll get a picture in the morning, the mud is ankle deep.

As it lay the next morning. Spark got chewed up by a coyote in the backyard last fall and he is into revenge.

Flip side, no exit.

I took the shot form here using the fence as a rest. The coyote was on the rim to the left of the juniper and to the right of the lilac in the foreground.

A golden eagle was working over the carcass this morning. I've always been surprised at how long it takes for the carrion birds to start on a coyote. Even in death they seem to scare things.

Betty BobKitty taken with the Bullberry 17HMR carbine at about 2:00 AM with moonlight only. One shot (CCI 17 gr. TNT) to the back of head at about 80 yards running away through waist high sage brush.

She was surprisingly easy to pick up in the 15X scope and looked like a grey ghost "floating" along in the dim light. Kind of fitting I guess as it was just a couple of hundred yards outside of the Area 51 fence and a few hundred from the Extraterrestrial Highway.

ladobe, nice shot on that kitty..

This is the only kitty I've ever shot, incidental to deer hunting, same Marlin 336 .35 Rem..It was a cold evening hunt which is why I am dressed like that.

A bobcat is going to be my main goal this fall, I seem to have far better luck with lions. I have only harvested one but spent five years tracking them and learning to read sings before I decided to buy a tag. Lost count/forgot the number of lions I have seen. Have only seen two bobscats in the wild and I jumped them coming around a corner on a overgrown mountain logging road. It happened so quick they stared at me as I stared at them and then they were gone.

Ultra, good luck with your bobcat. I've seen a few over the years, but only shot one. I've become more interested in shooting coyotes now. I did get the hide back on one of the yotes I shot in December, and it looks really nice..

Here is the cat I shot. I shot it from my ground blind while I was deer hunting, it walked right at me and I shot it at 25 yards. I was lucky enough to get the whole thing on film too.

Here are a few within the last little while.

Noticed this fella at the back of the house just off of the trout pond. By the time I grabbed the 204 T3 lite he had wandered 250 yds out to where my "meatsicle" was set up (just set it up on Saturday):evilgrin: Let the games begin.
Smacked him with a 38 grain wildcat, 4 spins and he was done. Entrance was just a touch smaller than a quarter, no exit, insides like "jello".

Got up this morning and had two visitors eyeing up my freshly made "meatsickle" from the edge of some heavy willows. Pretty cagey and didn't want to commit. Gave a couple of "cottontail distress" calls from the deck and the big male came out to have a quick look. A 35 gr berger launched from the T3 lite at a lasered 267 yds put him into "dream land". :evilgrin:

Finished opening CHRISTmas gifts and was going to go out on the deck to try out the new call I got. The "ruffi dawg" call by Les Johnson from "Predator Quest". Took a look through the binos (was pretty foggy), and had two visitors out. One on the "meatsickle" and one chewing on his dead comrade that I smacked earlier in the week. So out comes the T3 lite and a 35 gr berger was launched "gift wrapped". The little fella did 3 spins and was done. Surprisingly the 5 dead ones on the pile were basically cannibalized and were gone.:sick: I imagine this one will get chewed up in a few days as well.:evilgrin:
HO HO HO and merry CHRISTmas.

Woke up this afternoon after working nights and had this big male chewing on the new meatsickle that I put out last week. It was a bit breezy today and the 243 has been a "safe queen" as of late with the 204 getting most of the action, so out comes the 243 T3 lite. Laid prone on the deck and sent a 68 gr match grade berger pushed with 46.7 gr of H-414, 260 yds out. DRT. Small entrance, no exit.

Getting ready to head off to work last night and my son said there was another yote that showed up at the "meatsickle". I was to busy so he grabbed the T3 lite and sent another "gift wrapped" 35 gr berger with a nice resounding "smack". Another "merry CHRISTmas" dog off of the "meatsickle"

Was enjoying a cup of coffee yesterday morning when I spotted this little fella wandering around out back on the slough bottom. Figured it was a good time to test out the 38 gr wildcat out of my 204 T3 lite. Tiny entrance hole, and a quarter sized exit. DRT
