replacement sight for g2 barrel

Anyone have fiber optic sights on their barrels. Currently I have a 17hmr barrel w/ a 2-6x scope, 44mag with a red dot. I'm looking at a 45/70 barrel to mess around with and would like to find a decent set of replacement iron sights. Don't care for the factory iron sights.

Maybe. With the base, rings and dot it comes out to allot of $. I wouldn't mind a better iron sight for now. Getting hard to hide the gun money from the wife!

Factory rear sights are about 50 bucks  shipped to your place.

I am not sure this will help answer your question, but it is a thought.

Thanks I'll see what they have. I'm not sure if I could use some of the fiber optic sighs I've seen for the MZ. I have a hunter ED instructor discount with T/C so it would be great if they had something.

I have a set or two of the fiberoptic sightes that T/C had installed on their barrels, they fit the Contender barrel contour okay, remember your dealing with 2 different diameters of barrels, but not bad. Now for the problem of mounting the sights, you'll have to drill & tap new holes for the mounting screws as the hole pattern for the mounting screws is different than the Contender. But other than that they should work out fine. I have one set scheduled for a new 8inch 45-70 barrel I got ordered from MGM, not sure what I'll mount the second set on.  Got my sights off EBite for less than $25.00 each which included the F/O front sight also.
