H&R Customer Service Did Me Right

Well I had my first touch of H&R CS this morning. Ordered the Camo Lam fore end and actually got a guy by the name Logan to help me. I told him what I needed and he was very prompt and answered all the questions I asked. He said it would ship later today.

CS is usually good with any company when you are paying them something. Just wait untill you need them to do something on their nickle.

I have "needed for them to do something on their dime"  and I have always been treated fairly and promptly.   YMMV   but beaning considerate to the GS person never hurts. ::)     Doug

H&R Customer Support has always been great concerning getting repairs done, both in Gardner and now in Ilion/Madison, the problems come from misinformation and ordering parts which Madison sometimes does great, and other times not so good, ordering forends has been a big disappointment for many members, hope you get the right part Daman, be sure to post feedback here when you get it.  ;)

Me too Tim. I will post feedback.

Logan seemed to know exactly which foreend I was talking about. I told him camo and he asked like the turkey guns or the laminated. I told him laminated and he said got it, you do want checkered right and I said yes. He said it would be shipped later today. Maybe I will get lucky.

Just hope you don't end up with the 12ga USH Deluxe forend, the part numbers are in the FAQs if you want to confirm what he's sending.   :-\

Called back and Ann pulled it up on computer and confirmed it is not the Ultra fore end. She said it would be the one for any shotgun or rifle except the 10 gauge or the 12 Ultra.

Tim had me running scared so I called a third time and the guy gave me the part number the same as stated in the FAQ's for the checkered camo laminate fore end and confirmed the order. Maybe I did get lucky.

I just got my BC stock set yesterday, ordered it just shy of 2 weeks ago....and low and behold the right parts, bolts and all!

sounds like things may be getting back to the way it should be.

We can only hope! I love these little rifles for the value of workmanship vs. cost. I can only think of two guns in my future that I don't want to be Handi's and I have Remington's (Old ones when they still were worth what they cost), Brownings, Savage, and Ruger. The Handi's with TLC can be made into a custom gun with great accuracy with good glass for less than what my Brownings cost out of the box with no scope and looking just like everyone else's!
