Saw an article or two on them.  If you are a die-hard Remington guy, might be a good pistol to get.

I like it a lot and think it is a great looking gun. Now to figure out how to come up with the money to buy one. :o ;D Here is a picture of it along with the link for more information. Dale

is it on their website yet?  I would love to own a rem 1911.  I have a colt but that looks sweet and the sights are nice on it too.

Being a Remmy fanatic I was tempted at 1st to get one but I've never been a 1911 fan. I'm a Sig whore when it comes to pistols and I don't even have one of theirs. BUT...if I ever see this Remmy used and at a great price, I might have to make it a safe queen!

sniperVLS, what kind of cartridge holder is that on your rifle?  I think that would be great on my 5R.

I get asked that a lot  ;D

It's a Eagle Industries stock pack, comes in Olive drab, khaki and black. Very comfy for the cheek and holds a good amount of goodies in the pocket.

Seems they've added a few more colors since I got mine a couple years back. I didn't order it directly from Eagle, they were out of stock for months but other websites had it and for a few $$ cheaper.
