What did you do to support your candidate today?
« on: April 06, 2010, 04:34:32 PM »
We've argued and argued, screamed and lamented.  I've posted and pontificated.  Guess what, I got busy today.  I began in earnest a conversation with the Galveston County Republican party, and have committed my TIME (I'll keep my money, my time is worth more).  I plan on becoming a piece of furniture in their office for the next months, and probably years.  Who knows, maybe I can add a little sanity to City Council in the future.

First and foremost, I am making darn sure that they support what I support.  If they don't, I'm going to work to move them my direction.

I'm looking forward to see just how effective I can be.  If any of you guys would like to post ideas of what you are doing, I'd love to read them.

As I posted before, and received positive feedback, I am getting off of my duff.  It feels pretty good.

I met my Galveston County Republican Committee Chairman today.  What a lovely lady.  How proud she was at how successful we have been at purging our local Party of RINOs.  More importantly, she showed me some internal data that should have all of us conservatives ENERGIZED!!!!!

Folks, the good guys are about to win big, but don't walk past the PRIMARIES!!!  This is where you need to purge the RINOS.  They are vulnerable now, but we need you.

Actually back when the Republican party had strong conservative values, and really believed in smaller Government, instead of just saying they do................Party leaders and others like, Goldwater, and Reagan were more Libertarian .

I will support that kind of Republican in the Primary's, and I did! Ron Paul was my choice in 2008. Not sure who it will be in 2012. I've been active in local politics for several years and will look for that kind of person to support.
