Are you still with us looked like it might have hit over your way, HOPE ALL IS WELL.

Well here's my update.

All we got was a shower of debris.
It was pretty weird looking.
All that stuff up in the sky just circling around.

We lost power early on.
After the storm blew over I rolled the generator out and plugged it into the 5th wheel.
We sat out in it for a few hours.
I ran a extension line over to my elderly neighbors.

Around 10:00 the power came back on.
And we slept in the house.

Best I can tell we got lucky.
It must of just bounced over us.

The little church we go to got demolished along with the Country Boy store across the street.

My brother-in-law lost everything except the four wall of his bathroom they were hiding in.
House, workshop, tractor, truck, I mean everything.
But most importantly they are fine, except for the shock.

Appreciate the concern everyone had last night. Thanks everyone.

I am glad you fared well,Watching the news it laid down a bunch of transmison line over that way proably take awhile to restore power to some.

Yea you can see them from hiway 9.
Twisted up mess.
They're saying some folks may be without power for a week and a half.

I saw in this weeks wildlife update that T-bird is closed due to debris.

I think it was mostly down by the marina.
But there's chunks and hunks of building scattered everywhere.

This is the info from the ODWC:

Thunderbird: May 11. All nine access points to the lake have been closed and Oklahoma Lake Patrol crews have been dispatched to patrol the water to prevent people from going on the lake that is littered with debris. The Little River Marina, camping facilities, comfort stations and lake huts at the Little Axe Campground and Fisherman’s Point were heavily damaged or destroyed and will be closed indefinitely. The Clear Bay area and access to the South Dam at Lake Thunderbird are closed until power and water can be restored. All facilities on the north side of the lake will be closed until at least May 17, so work crews can finish damage assessments and clean up debris. Leslie Blair, Public Information Officer, Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department.

I hope they get it cleaned up soon. That's one of our favorite weekend spots.
It's only about 10 miles from the house. Makes for a easy pull of the 5th wheel.
My grandkids know the north side of that park like the back of thier hand.
