Good Boar!

Now, the key is if she cleaned it all by herself.  ;D

That's a whopper!  Great hog.  Have fun did she?  Now she'll appreciate your adventures even more and maybe give you a kitchen pass more often.  It's worth a shot anyways... ;D

Congrats to your wife.  Hunting hogs was what got my wife hooked on hunting.  Now we own some land and she hunts with me frequently, and jsut as important, is supportive of me spending $ form time to time on hunts of non-native game.

My wife hunts (hogs and deer) with me a good bit, she has been with me when I have caught them with dogs but she decided that she wanted to shoot one.

Thats funny.  I took my wife on a hog dog hunt.  She never wanted to do that again.  I'm not sure if it was the run from the vehicle to the dogs, the squealing pigs or what.  Like your wife, she prefers to shoot.

Congrats to your wife. How about some details. What is she shooting? What kinda of range? Now she will probably be hooked.

She was shooting a gun that just wasnt big enough to do the job ( I know this because he ran 7 yards after she shot him). .223, 55 gr psp,27.5 gr varget, 127 yard shot,  and yeah she is hooked.  She shot a 215 pound sow last night but I was unable to get pics.

Congrats on your wife's hog. Like ya'lls my wife likes to hunt hogs with me and likes hunting them with the dogs. However we have to be on 4 wheelers and she likes it when I can drive her up right next to it. She almost stuck on once, but chickened out and threw the knife at me and then she legged the hog. So she atleast helped out LOL. Again your wife shot a nice hog.
