:? I canceled my order for a Ruger Gold Lable, but I was wondering, has anyone out there actually put one in their gun case. I bought an Italian smoke pole by the way!

The local Ruger distributor sez " will be shipping June or July 2003". I also believe in the Easter bunny!!

What are you guys trying to pay for one of these. I'd like to have one but I'd need a good reason to pay MSRP.

I see the MSRP is $1995. My order price was $1600. I didn't shop around at all though. Most of the competition is in the $1350-1700 range for something comparable. I would really like this double in 28 or 20 gauge though.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they did a nice little English 20 something like the Silver Hawk. I've been in the market for a SxS hunting gun for a while. The only ones I've found that I like are TOO expensive to drag through the mud.
