44 mag peep sight

What is out there for a peep sight to fit on the 44 mag?Thanks

Williams WGRS fits factory drilled holes.  Will need higher front sight.  The .22 hornet front sight used to work well for me.

You'll find info on the WGRS in the Peep and Firesights link in the FAQs, H&R sells the WGRS for $20 and $5.50 shipping IIRC, the 45-70 set sight set up with Williams Shotgun shorty ramp and Firesight insert works great on the 44mag as well, that's what I used to shoot the group below at 100yds with the 225gr Hornady LE ammo.

recently I called Remington and asked about the WGRS sight RO3019 mentioned in the FAQ's.The lady on the phone seemed to be the clueless one spoken of here in the past.Anyway she said there wasn't  such a part No. So much for that.I guess they have changed the part numbers or is it they no longer stock the sights?G66

mrloring was told the same thing if you read the thread in my last post, then he called again and ordered and received it, some CS reps just don't offer much help, don't give up, the WGRS is the standard sight for the 45-70 Buffalo Classic.
