You knew about it before me DP!
I started reading your post and it got dark as night, thunder sounds like an artillary barrage, my poor old German Shepard just ran by to hide under the bed... real nasty out there.   :'(

It's still that way here Richard and they say it's gonna continue here on into Sunday morning some time so you guys likely have a couple hours or more of it left than we do.

Lots of thunder and lightning with this one and some high winds. Yazoo, MS had a tornado and they are still digging folks out so I hear.

Early this morning it was sprinking very lightly. I tried fishing for awhile but the rain finally set in and I had to leave. We need the rain but I sure wanted to catch some fish :'(.
At least we ain't having any bad weather here.

Ima gonna look around and see if I can find out how much we got.  It darn sure was a good bit!  I may buy one of those rainfall gauges!  Haven't had much use for one till this year.

Now the sun is shining and the temp is climbing, but the wind is pretty high.  What a year for extreme weather this has been!

If this mess we have is headed your way you might wanna dig out a coat. The wind is high and the temps are low. I'll sure not be sitting on the porch this evening as I usually do this time of year. If fact I'll likely turn the heat on before long.
