I suppose I'm overly cynical & maybe naive but what I want to know is why everyone in the USA is not up in arms when lobbyists dump bushels of money on our president to give to our congress to introduce bills or buy their votes.
Did I make this up? Why do you think lobbyists need enormous sums of $$ to "convince" congress to vote a certain way? Why do you think each party lines up single file to do their administration's bidding like school children lining up at the water fountain? Do you think maybe the reason Bush gave the banks a trillion during the "4 day bank crisis" in October of 08 was a payoff for laundering his lobby money for 8 years?
How do you think congressmen become millionaires in two terms? Hard work?
