I have posted many times here how I love to shoot my 38-55 B.C. and also have read many times the latch lock up should be even wear across the locking latch.I have noticed my 38-55 B.C. seem the favor the one side showing a little more uneven lock up ,but the shoot outstanding why mess with it????

Arent you glad you know now? Some things maybe we shouldnt check when we have a good shooter.
At this point you sure dont want to 'hex' it!

Not too long ago I bought a used wide angle lens for an old SLR camera. Well, it worked fine, but had a "little gritty" spot in the focus/zoom. Just 3 hours later I tossed it in the trash after I tried to fix just this one little thing, cost me $50 to find out.

Also had a small problem with a very old iMac, took only two hours before that went in the trash...lucky it was only worth about $50.

So I have sworn off trying to fix something that is not in obvious need of repair. I am usually a very good mechanic and fixer of things. Maybe the brain is withering away at my age.

Lone...don't touch it! Well only touch it if Tim or Larry say it is OK to do so.

I almost forgot my rightful place in the forum, that of deferring to the H&R Gods. ;D ;D
